"A series like this on national TV is LONG overdue...!"

What are dedicated fans are saying about Volunteers The Series

Noelle Dell: AMEN!!! We all take it for granted, to just call 911 in our time of need and help will be on the way. But we tend to forget that when it's 2 o'clock in the morning and a cold and rainy night, it's a volunteer that's saving your life!! They are doing it for the community and because they truly care!! It takes a special person indeed to do what they do!

Eric Ziegelhofer: I would like to see the public support the fire departments and other emergency service workers as they did after the events on 9/11/2001, they would often wave to us, thank us, or donate things to us, and now it has gone back to (in my own opinion) who cares about the... emergency service workers, I will never need them, or the firefighters just like to tear up houses, the cops are out to pick on people, the emts and paramedics just want to make you pay for a band-aid at a cost of $50.00, or all three just think they can do what they want and when they want because they have lights and sirens! I am looking forward to a series about firefighters, maybe then it will put the good spotlight back on what we do and not what they think. They don't even seem to recognize us while we are hosting open houses, giving smoke detectors away, doing presentations and things of that nature, instead they just keep their minds tuned to we are just out there to cause damage and such!

Dave Butler: I just want you to know you have the support of a fellow Volunteer brother from Oregon, I sit on the Executive Board for Oregon Volunteer Firefighters Assoc. Very proud to be a Volunteer. Check out our web site, OVFA.org. Keep up the good work my brother.

Amanda Sceriha: i hope this series comes out on australian tv would love to watch this im a fellow volunteer with cfa in victoria, australia

Mike Berry: From the West Coast, we want to see VTS be sucessful! As the IRS, DOL, and other government agencies work to take away many of the incentives for people to volunteer to help their neighbors any vehicle that helps the public see what over 800,000 of us do on a daily basis because we want to help people is appreciated! The quality seen in your previews and trailers tells me that you guys are class acts! Wishing you well!

Chad Furr: Just wanted to say THANKS maybe there will be some TV worth watching now. Hope it is a huge success.

Devin Chasse I just want to let you guys know i think this is the best idea for a tv show i have ever heard! Im a volunteer myself and I have allways wanted a fire show kind of like cops. And when you get this petition I will be more than willing to sign along with all of my frends! good luck and I will be looking for the TV show soon.

Sandra Chevalier: You just brought a tear to my eye, this is beautiful!!!!May I add it to my notes?

Ed McCormick: really looking forward to seeing your hard work. I'd like to ask you to hurry up, but I know that it takes time to create something worth watching, so I'm waiting patiently. :o)

Jason Burgess: Thank you for doing this. I don't think most people know how much are family's and we give to be a part of a Volunteer Fire Dept. Being pulled away in a flash of the tones during supers, holidays, sleeping, family events when ever the call is. We are ready and are family's are ready to support us all the way. All the training and time spent to be ... See Moreready for anything. It takes a special person to endure the emotional roller coaster ride that we go on with most of this vol. dept. being small town based so you know 95% of the people you help. Thank you again for trying to show this life we all love and wouldn't give up for anything.

Justin Cloutier: As a volunteer myself, I'd like to thank the rest of the volunteers in the fire and ems service for serving their communities. Thank you all.

Ruthie Dell: It's so sad how we take life and people for granted. We can be presumptuous, angry and self absorbed at times. But when the chips are down, we all need someone sooner or later to give us a reality check. A near death experience can sure give you one and what if the people that we show these sides to, refused to help us? Wake up people! Life is too... See More short..Remember the words of Robin Hood, "All for one and one for all"..God bless the men and women out there trying to keep us all safe, happy and alive!!

Glen Reams: When this show going to air??

Jeanne Creech: As a 'near death' survivor myself I certainly do appreciate the efforts made by emergency volunteers. If it were not for special people like them I would not be here today. I take nothing for granted. Life is very fragile. I hope all the volunteers/emergency crews take great care in protecting themselves as well when they are rescuing those in need.

Kelsey Lennemann: I think this would be an amazing show! This looks great

Willy Hodge: We will wait as long as it take and do what we need to do to get it recognized! Im also on a volley dept. and I would love to see this go big for all our volley brothers! Stay safe!!

Justin Cloutier Thank YOU for puting together this series to show people the volunteer's point of view of the Fire Service. It means a lot.

Torben Mark Kinner: it'd be cool for that same TV crew to follow around a hotshot crew or handcrew......if they need a camera guy i'm your man :)

Willy Hodge: I cant wait for it!! I have been waiting for awhile. I have already donated! Comon people. Lets get this thing going and keep it going!

Jerry Scott Stigall: when will this show be on tv i'm on a volunteer department in indiana and everyone wants to see this show

Douglas Andrew: cant wait to check this show out!

Ty Rowan: I can't even count the number of times we get on scene and the first thing they say is "where have you been" or "what took you so long"....its an overlooked and under-respected job, and I wouldn't trade it for the world! Keep up all the good work, and remember, Everybody Goes Home!

Janine J. Tholke Sullivan: I am very proud to be a part of EMS...you guys did a great job!!

Thaddeus Setla: You as well, great to others as passionate about this media, you guys are doing it right!

Jimmy Fear: come to chesterfield or montville ct

Dennis Smith: Come to Shag Harbour Nova Scotia Canada, We would love to have you.

Andrew Ewan Thomson: I just need Larsens Autograph....Man that dude is awesome!! heh heh

Kyle Thomas: really wanna see this on TV!!

Jamie Stephens: It's going to be awesome when VTS is is on air, and on the road. Lot of work that can be done, and needs to be done, and VTS is the vehicle with which to share that work.

Benny Craig: I've not found this on TV. Is it still on or going to be if anyone knows please. Thanks!

Alex Wallace: I Definitely want to see this on TV!!!!!!! This would be one of the best shows out on tv!!!!!! Come on everyone, comment and help get VTS on TV!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work VTS and don't give up! Stay safe.

Andrew J Dunn: What channel and time is it gonna be on

Melanie Smith: A lot of times people dont realize that being a volunteer firefighter extends beyond fighting fires. More times than not they are involved in civic activities in their own communities such as toy drives at Christmas, fund raising events for people with extreme illnesses, food drives for the needy etc. The saying" We do this so other may life" extends beyond fire fighting. So to all other volunteer firefighthers...Thanks for ALL you do!

Christopher Franco: I am excited to see this show!!! I've been telling EVERYONE I know about it, and if it gets on TV then it will be even BETTER!!! GREAT WORK GUYS!!!

Beth Briggs: ANYTHING for you and to help - getting really excited to see it on TV!!! Prayers for lots of luck - and crossing my fingers!

Willy Hodge: I cant wait! This is going to be amazing! I had told everyone around my county to support the show! My vision is for this to blow "Rescue Me" out of the water, just for the fact its "MADE BY FIREMEN, FOR FIREMEN!". This show will really show how we are all brothers and sisters and how we do our thing! Stay safe!

Johnny Ray Deardorff: My congratulations and Job well done, From the members of the Reidsville Georgia Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Chief, Johnny Deardorff, Fire Instructor Trainer

Crystal Farnsworth: Volunteers make life safe if it wasn't for those who care without pay we would have a lot more deaths and loss of property

Micki Barbree: Love that you guys are very dedicated to being volunteers. There is not a better feeling then when you can help someone. I use to be a volunteer firefighter I loved it. Glad ya'll are getting the story out about volunteers. Good Luck and God Bless all the Volunteers.

Evelyn Nemeth: The tones drop at 1 am; a normal person rolls back over & forgets whatever is goin on. A volunteer firefighter rolls over, gets outta bed, gets dressed and is enroute to the firehouse. If you are a firefighter or know or have family members in the fire department click "like" then respost this on your status in respect... to all the volunteer firefighters around the world.

Scott Edwards: Asa volunteer firefighter for the last few years, a wild land fire fighter, and a former member of the SW Virginia med reserve corp. I am thrilled to see someone finally putting together a program to show what we do and why we do it! I hope you all will check this out and support it! To my brothers and sisters out there, ya'll stay safe.

Andrew J Dunn: I'm a volunteer FF and love it. I love to help people and firefighting is fun and challenging. The public needs to see what we deal with on a day to day basis. I hope to go career this year.

Im a firefirighter wannabe. I love helping people and the challenge of it all. I am definantly looking forward to starting school. Thankyou guys for all you do every day.

Lloyd May: this is the way the us started and now people are to into gettin payed to do something this fun i love the volunteers.

Amy King: This is dedicated to all of us volunteers. We risk our lives to save the life of another. May God Bless each of my brothers and sisters in the Emergency services! "Wow! "cops has been on for years, its our turn now. people need to see the real life, and anyone who has been in the fire service know it doesnt get anymore real life than what we do. maybe people will understand a little bit about what we do if this airs."

"Can't wait to see it..GREAT VID...God please be with us firefighters as we do our? calling."

" This video shows a side of a volunteers life that not enough people in the world get to see. I may not be a firefighter, but I am an Emergency Medical Technician, & have many many family members & friends that are both EMTs & FFs. I have been around ambulances & fire trucks my entire life. I am currently a fifth generation member of our local company. We go out into the world everyday & make a difference in the lives of people who need us. It doesn't matter to us if you're our best friend or a total stranger to us. We work our hardest for everyone. I have been an EMT since I turned 16 almost four years ago. I have seen many horrific scenes in my time, & several lives lost. I have also seen many many lives saved, & there is no other feeling in the world like saving a life. I would not trade being an EMT for anything else in this world. My daughter is only 1 & she is already in love with ambulances just as I was at her age. I really hope she grows up to be the 6th generation member to follow in my footsteps. To all of my friends, family, the love of my life, & fellow providers god bless you, & be safe in your duties."

"i would love to see this On TV. then some of the people will see what the Emts and firefighter Volunteer do."

"Awesome trailer guys. I really hope you can make it to TV, definitely deserving of it."

"I can't wait to see more. Tell the whole story and include sacrifices of time from our families and balancing making a living while serving. Show the challenges of making training schedules that work and the fiction that to be a professional you have to be paid. Remind people of the volunteer fire and rescue legacy from the birth of our country ... See More and how perpetuating these values are important to us today. People are still ready and willing to serve. It's a big story, worth telling. Thank you."

"This is awesome! Can you get these series on DVD?"

"Beautiful! I hope this? goes a long way! People deserve to see what its like to be part of the brotherhood!"

"That is the most amazing video for emergency services I have ever seen. It is a show like this that is needed to show the true side of the world of emergency services unlike some of the other programs we know are out there trying to represent this most awesome field. I hope this goes mainstream! Speaking as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, I am proud that something like this exists!"

"This is one of the best videos (which I first seen on YouTube) I have seen on this subject! Great job!! Looking forward to seeing more and/or making some for my department."

"Awesome dude, good job! Don't let this get to your head! Your still ugly!"

"wow man this is really good."

"We choose to volunteer..not for glory or to a hero, we volunteer because there is something in each one of us that longs to serve our fellow beings in a desperate time of need. We do it because those in their darkest hour ask us to in their prayers and we are grateful to respond and do the job. Thank you to all who support the volunteer programs."

"very very very well done travis! keep up the good work! this video was incredible"

"AWESOME video travis and valerie!! this seriously is motivating to watch. plus its awesome that i was actually at that scene :)"

"looks like you guys have a tight dept,We know what you mean by not getting the recognition we deserve being volunteers fire fighters,in 2008 only 40% our community donated money & only 13% of the business' donated money to our dept, parts of our community are growing real fast which means we will need bigger & better aparatus to serve them, hope they figure that out."

"Great video! keep it up, I look forward to the series. Glad to see that you use the Passport system for accountability."

"Awesome video! Be safe out there!!!"
